ECCE Team
Gary D. Black is a Senior Research Scientist II in the Scientific Computing Environments group of the Computational Sciences and Mathematics department. Black joined PNNL in 1989 with a BS in Computer Science from Washington State University. Black currently serves as the project lead and software engineer for the Extensible Computational Chemistry Environment project.
Todd O. Elsethagen is a Senior Research Scientist in the Business Information Systems group of the Information Sciences & Engineering department. Elsethagen joined PNNL in 1998 with a BS in Mathematics/Computer Science from Western Washington University. Elsethagen is currently the data management task lead for the ECCE project.
Steven W. Matsumoto is a Communications Specialist and the manager of the User Support Systems group of the Scientific and Technical Information department. Matsumoto joined PNNL in 1976 after reforming from a BS in Psychology from Washington State University. Matsumoto was a member of the ECCE online help design team in 1996 and is still one of the help writers on the ECCE project.
Bruce J. Palmer is a Senior Research Scientist II in the Computational Sciences and Mathematics department. He received his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and a Ph. D. in Chemical Physics from Harvard University. Palmer currently serves as the Chemist Architect on ECCE specifically working on code registration and support for molecular dynamics.
Michael R. Peterson is an Engineering Associate in PNNL's Scientific Computing Environments group of the Computational Sciences and Mathematics department. Peterson joined PNNL in 1997 with a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University. Peterson currently serves as a support person for various CSM department applications.
Karen L. Schuchardt is a Staff Scientist in PNNL's Scientific Computing Environments group of the Computational Sciences and Mathematics department. Schuchardt works as chief software engineer and architect on the ECCE project. Schuchardt joined PNNL in 1984 with a BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.
Lisong Sun is a Staff Scientist in PNNL's Scientific Computing Environments group of the Computational Sciences and Mathematics department. Sun joined PNNL in 2004 with an MS in Computer Science and a MS in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico. Sun currently serves on the ECCE project through the design and development of software that provides the graphical user interface of the ECCE suite of tools.
Ken R. Swanson is a Senior Research Scientist I within the William R. Wiley Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory. Swanson joined PNNL in 1996 with a BS in Physics from Pacific Lutheran University, an MS in Astronomy from New Mexico State University, and BS in Computer Science from Central Washington University. Swanson currently serves on the ECCE project through the design and development of software that provides the graphical user interface of the ECCE suite of tools.
Colleen Winters is a Communications Specialist and member of the User Support Systems group of the Scientific and Technical Information department. Winters joined PNNL in 1992. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and her MS in Information Science from Drexel University. Winters has been one of the help writers on the ECCE project since 1998.
